Help Needed

Hello everyone!!! I have decided on the structure of my video and am now recruiting people to make short videos of themselves explaining different aspects of the Catholic faith. I still need people to contribute 30  sec videos about the following topics:

-What is Catholicism?
-Church leaders (i.e. why we listen to the Pope, why priest are male and celibate)
-The importance of love and respect to the Catholic Faith
-How Catholics use idols (the crucifix, statues, etc.) to pray to God and saints and not to worship the actual idol.

If you would like to volunteer to create one of these videos please message me. I will give you a brief outline of what to say and a permission slip to put the video on YouTube.

Interview Time

I have started my interviews and have come up with a few beliefs that have been misinterpreted. Now, I am asking for your help. If you have a few minutes it would be very helpful if you could answer a these questions in the comment section or email me.

For Catholics:
1) What are some beliefs of our faith that you did not always understand or know about?
2) What do you think are some beliefs that are misunderstood by non-Catholics or other Catholics?

For Non-Catholics:
1) What key things do you know about the Catholic faith?
2) What beliefs seem odd to you?

Step One

I am now beginning to work on my Girl Scout Gold Award. This is the highest award that I can earn and is recieved by completing a large-scale service project.

For my Gold Award, I will be creating a video highlighting the basic beliefs of the Catholic Church and the most misinterpreted beliefs. I have noticed that many people dislike the Catholic faith because they do not fully understand the religion. This video will help anyone who is misinformed about the Catholic Church. I want to decrease the amount of animosity towards and misinterpretation of the Catholic Church.

My first step is to figure out which beliefs are the most misunderstood. To do that, I will be interviewing both non-Catholics about their basic knowledge of the Catholic Faith, and Catholics about which beliefs they believe are misinterpreted by others.
